Know that you are not alone.

Below are a list of credible sources to aid survivors of sexual assault on the road to recovery and justice.

RAINN - Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. They created and operate the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800-656-HOPE)

National Sexual Violence Resource Center - their mission is to provide leadership in preventing and responding to sexual violence through collaboration, sharing and creating resources, and promoting research.

Office on Violence Against Women -  this office provides federal leadership in developing the national capacity to reduce violence against women and administer justice for and strengthen services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

It Happened To Alexa Foundation - their mission is to empower survivors of rape and sexual assault and to facilitate the prosecution of their offenders by providing financial, emotional, and advocacy assistance to the survivors and/or supporter at the time of trial.

Additionally, I would like to encourage students to visit their campus Women's Center and utilize the campus Counseling Center. Faculty and staff are trained to assist adolescents through these times.
